چکیده
This contribution provides preliminary modelling results and data analysis of an existing neutral-temperature district heating (NTDH) network. The word ”neutral” in this context refers to the fact that distribution temperature is close ambient (e.g., 15–20 °C). type network coupled with decentralized heat pumps (HP), for both cooling. They offer advantage being reversible possibility integrating low-temperature waste heat. considered case located Ospitaletto, Italy. includes two sources (industrial at about 25 °C ground source from aquifer wells 15 °C), it mainly built non-insulated pipes has a length approximately 2 km. Decentralized HPs installed user substations provide proper space sanitary hot water production. An approximate model was applied analyse operation. focused on energy balances aggregating all users as lumped demand explicitly behaviour substations, component not available other tools. simulation entire year operation considered, hourly resolution. Thermal load profiles are known used input model, while outputs compared real -a combination weekly measurements substations-which include annual supply, electricity consumptions, thermal losses, seasonal performance factor (SPF). yield overall deviation 15% main indicators when using pre-defined data. In conclusion, even though measured SPF slightly lower than expected, reaches reasonable agreement.

Efficient Physical Modelling of District Heating Networks
A mathematical physical model for dynamic simulation of flow and temperature in district heating networks (DHN) is proposed. The network structure is described by means of a graph-theoretical approach where the network elements are pipe sections, consumers and heat sources. The governing equations for hydraulic flows and heat distribution through pipe networks are presented. In addition, proper...
متن کاملAn optimization approach for district heating strategic network design
District heating systems provide the heat generated in a centralized location to a set of users for their residential and commercial heating requirements. Heat distribution is generally obtained by using hot water or steam flowing through a closed network of insulated pipes and heat exchange stations at the users’ locations. The use of optimization techniques for the strategic design of such ne...

Optimization and Control of a District Heating Network
The short term optimization and control of a district heating network is a crucial point for Energy Industries. In this article, a model, well suited to industrial issues is presented and then used to determine the optimal schedule of the network. As consumers demands are imperfectly predicted, it is necessary to have a closed loop strategy to robustly control the network. The control law is ba...
